I got to chase a friend riding a Shark with me riding a Banga and his upwind angles and speed were very impressive. IMO, I believe Spotz have a winner with this foil.

Side question, is the mast to fuselage connection a pre existing standard like a probox (kind looks like a short probox) or is it a custom (non standard) conical connection?
it's custom i think.
For the upwind performance, i recommand to take the 108cm mast (mine is coming) .. Compare it with other foil on HFPT, in light condition and pretty flat see.. my upwind angle was the same compare to other.. until the see is choppy in wind over 15knot.. i've some difficult to follow the same angle compare to guy with 110mast.. because the wing of foil tend to go outside to the faster.. so for my the foil gonna be competitive for pure race with the 108mast.. and already competitive for speed !!

Gabor is now on Mikes Lab only although still selling Spotz. Ricardo made the jump to the Shark and his performance is exceptional.

This foil is so fast and stable !! Just reach Vmax36 knot, V10 35.5 and 32.5 on 500m ! I was lock at vmax33 knot with the tuna, definitively the shark goes faster !
In few weeks it gonna be 38 knot

Any Chance you could share your board and foil setup please?
Aft Strap front screw to Rear Tuttle screw?
Front strap rear screw to forward Tuttle screw?
Rear Stab angle? (Seems like Gunnar likes 5º)
Thanks

Thanks Gunnar for the review. I followed your advice on rear wing angle and the rear foot strap position. The Delta Hydrofoil angle measurement also worked well. Watching your review saved me the 3 hours of fiddling around that you did for us.

not got the measurements, but I have the front of my backfoot just infront of the back of the foil.
