I have seen the videos. I have tried to do the walk. I have crashed...
My problem seems to be that I pop to much in the beginning, not that I get airborne to high but I loose the speed forward and only "walk at the spot".
It seems really hard to pop less because then I don't get the time to get the board off - any advice?
Cheers

your kite should fly a bit forward...sounds like you send it already and at zenith you pull the bar...so you go up instead of forward plus up.
And don't go too slow...you need speed...and not too less.
Getting the board off and on is key for those surface tricks...you need to be fast. Big straps and a good handle can already make a big difference.

make sure you have the darkslide nailed down first that's the prerequisite trick, then make sure you have your normal board offs on a jump down, last put both together for the jesus walk

Hi again!
Thanks for your advices!
Today I went for another try, I managed to get the board off - and to walk downwind!
But when it was time to get the board back on, the kite loop did not lift me enough to have time or height to get it on... (it did not lift me at all)
I used a Ozone edge 13m in 16-18knots, any advice!?!
Cheers!

In this Wind I barely can do it with an 18 ...
You need wind!
Maybe try to loop a bit earlier so the kite is higher...if loops too low it won't lift you.
Keep us informed about your progress!
Good luck!

I remember seeing Tom Hebert doing a barefoot in one of Tom's Kitchen episodes.
Not an expert, but I imagine the amount of power needed is similar.
He said he was using a 14m Evo in 25 kts of wind

Guys! I am stoked!
Today I landed it!!
First on Ozone R1 15m in 16 knots, and then on Ozone Edge 13m in 18 knots!
Only like 3-4 steps, but I landed, hoping to get more steps when there is more wind.
Thanks for your support!
Maybe barefoot is the next trick!

Yeah, that's great news! Happy for you
Barefoot Slide is very similar...but go as fast as possible! For a decent slide you need good speed, more than the Jesus Walk.
Enjoy!
