the whole new range...
...the same old octopus
you´re rigth! One of my most happy days will be, when at Naish they decide to get rid of it. But even with the Octopus **** they are great kites
Obviously, you cannot have it all
I don't know why everyone complains about the octopus ! i have a 2009 colt and its still never failed. I could pump it up and fly it today if I wanted to go retro !

Even if you have to repair it, it is an old myth that it is a nightmare. For a couple of years now the valve connections
are well accessible through large zippers. In the end it probably takes half an hour longer than with standard one pump. That´s 30 minutes and that should be a decision criteria for not using a very good kite?
BTW: 2018 Blue/Grey Pivot is on the way

Yup. Well I actually don't think it takes even that much longer even for a LE. If you use lines to situate the nozzles it is a pretty trivial job.
Also they are less prone to needing repairs the outside single pump systems because there is no part of the system that gets damaged by UV.

So, I owned quite some Naish kites, recently Pivots (first version) 5 and 8. Never ever had any problems with the Octopus system, in fact I love it, super easy and no External shit that can break...

Am riding Naish for several years now, never had any issue with the Octopus inflation system. Is there no 2018 Dash or is this the mid-season release?

Dash came out in spring 2017. I think the next version will come in 2018.
