The WMFG pump is emblematic of the problem with a lot of new kitesurfing gear: a significantly improved design with one basic, simple flaw - the hose as originally supplied was too stiff causing the pump to "unscrew" itself. You'd think this would have been caught in pre-production testing ... but apparently not. How many "new" bars & kites have arrived on the market with similar fundamental design issues with the CL, safety systems, depower systems, strut valves etc.?
