No end piece or splicing. Stick Shift bar shares an almost identical one to the control bar. Very easy to completely remove the loop.

Had another great session on the Stick Shift today, have been chopping and changing between it and the Control Bar for a quite sometime now, but it is sooo much better in the surf. Can trim wherever/whenever without adjusting body position, I usually didn't touch the trim too much, but find myself using it a lot more which is actually helping me to improve my wave kiting.
Honestly I don't think I can think of a situation where I would prefer to use a standard bar anymore.
Sounds like a sales pitch pimp but this bar has grown on me, a lot.
I agree - I really like how you can use it in the surf to make quick, subtle changes in your power for say, coming into the flats and downlooping on a bottom turn back into the wave. It is really nice to be able to make a quick bump to bleed off some power.

I would buy one if they were relatively priced with other bars. Has anyone converted this to a five line bar yet? Another reason I haven't looked into buying is becsuse most of my kites are five line.

If you need a 5 line bar just go for the North Click Bar.

Not a fan. The depower rope is kinda square and kinks a little when you make bar in hard turns. Plus I like the idea of the open bar and the knob. Although I've never flown the or bar, it looks to be much user friendly than the click. My next quiver of kites will most likey be razors due to the fact that they fly very similar to my 2012 &2013 vagas..... however my kites are still in exellent condition. I have really burnt through north bars which is why I'm asking about the five line option on the stick shift.....if I could get a really good deal on a 10m & 8m razor and a stick shift bar I would get rid of the vegas 12m &9m.

I agree early on the depower line on North Click sticks slightly during turns, which is only relevant if you want to sheet out / in during the turn. The square cross-section is needed for the auto untwist. My bar stopped sticking after a few sessions and now feels the same in this respect as other bars I've used.

So, I read a video comment somewhere that the next generation Stick Shift bar is making it's rounds. Any tech or info on it?

No CL/DD and something for rope slider could be interesting.
