Yes, tried both and chose Ronix. Nothing is as comfy at Ronix. I don't get the whole durability argument. I don't grind the cables all day like some of the guys do but I take care of my gear and the Ronix are still going strong.

I used to have Ronix and liked the boots. They run very small in size. I loved riding them....but I ended up not riding boots after some pretty bad crashes.
I can't say much about how long they will last. Mine seemed to last fine, but I am also primarily riding waves so the TT didn't get a ton of exercise.

It's quite personal thing I guess.
Haven't tried Ronix.
RAD's are good enough for me. Very nice hardware system which allows the board to flex more.
The gummy straps is very clever idea too.
Having narrow feet I'm able to tighten the boots as much I want, without the hassle of extra laces.
When it's gusty I don't bother tighten the boots on the beach, just get my feet in, and I'm doing it in the water. Very useful in rocky beaches either.
Yes they are built to last, and yes, heavier than one of my friends Ronix Franks. He did like them at first but after 2mo he changed them for O'BRIEN (can't remember the model).

Its also relevant for RAD 2016 model?

I don't know. I had Shredtowns and Hyperlite systems before.

I ride Ronix One since 4y and still happy with em. Super comfy! Can be a hassle getting in, but i read Slingshot Rad are even worse. Only had to upgrade laces to LF otherwise top notch
