my friend has got his 4 yr old son a 2.5 inflatable but he gets overpowered in like 10 knots and often loses interet while flying it and just lets the bar go and walks away

We have customers with 5 and 7 yr old kids who already rip.
I wouldn't go earlier than 5 though..

Thanks for the input. I have a son who just turned 1 year old. I had him practice walking by holding onto the bar while I held the lines instead of a using a walker. Can't wait to get him on the trainer next year.

Strap him on a mountain board next time, so he can both kite and board control down. It worked for out daughter :-)

Oh yeah - start him with the helmet early.....

Ok guys... Yes they can kiteboard at four or five... but can they do it safely... do they have the logic worked out... this is why I think the lower limit is 8 old on snow and 12 on water .. I started my son on snow at 11 .. and on water at 12 .. he still has some difficulties on water... but is progressing well. he is now 13, and I believe he has the physical strength and the board skills that will allow me not to have to shadow him on the sea doo .. bottom line is this sport can still be dangerous.. especially for kids.
