I bought the 132 and 135 666. The 135 is not bad for spray in the face but not great either. The 132 is horrible. Any kind of speed in the chop and suddenly I find myself riding blind while still facing forward.

Pads are horrible as well. Easy to put on the board but that's where the good part ends. The pads are small and the arch support cuts the blood flow off in my feet. Makes them hurt. I'm also trading the Nobile Pads out for Hover pads.

For the money I paid for these boards I'm really disappointed. Not good in chop at all. Flat water is awesome though. But I can't ride flat water all the time. Will never buy Nobile again. Sorry I fell for the hype.

Pretty well known that the 666 is a flatwater dream but not great in chop for the reasons mentioned above. 555 is a better choice, mine never sprays me. Pads don't bother my feet but Ithere is lots of room for improvement in terms of keeping your feet in place.

Just had the 666 '08 129 ; one fast board, great flex, was good in chop
but not in small ocean swells as a race board, not enough rocker of course.
(Jeremy Lund won Jupiter to Lauderdale race on '08 Jaime 134 - the contrast)

Now have 555, both the 125 and the 128, both boards now with slingshot pads
that have toe 'squidgies', the change in level that gives toe grip.

Dariusz Rosiak - Nobile owner, was at our beach 3 days ago.
After demo'ing the 12M 666 kite, I showed him the Slingshot pads and told
him companies like Underground, and now North, as well as Slingshot, have pads with toe grip.
Requested he please follow suit, as Nobile pads are a weak generic, and most people replace them.

Thank you, Dariusz, for the great demo at our beach!

Note: the 2008 pads are nicely tweaked from the 2007 pads.

2008 pads - slightly thicker (provides more padding)
- foot pad material is softer and of a different material/texture than the 2007 pads.
