Ok, looks like now it really is back!
Since yesterday wind gets better, and forecast ist daily easterly.
We were max 35 kites today on Cauipe, still no problem to ride.
But, beginners should stay in their area and stay away from jumping areas. It really is enough space for everyone to have fun.

Still strange, light wind yesterday and today, Saturday rain during the day!
But, looks like from tomorrow on, finally Wind season starts.

Are you in Cumbuco or further North?
I always have half and eye on Cumbuco (favourites in my app) - and it looks rather bad. Even Prea shows just around 20 knots in the forecast.

Cumbuco.
Forecast is only correct in the tendency, always add like 5 knots to it…Prea even more.
If forecast says 14 gusting 18 we have like 18-25.
Compare forecast with actual wind, from tomorrow on
http://www.cumbuco-oceanview.com/weather/
Forecast says 14-18. I expect gusts up to 23-25

talked recently, like week or 2 weeks ago to a person who is (/was) there, in Prea I mean, and she was saying that actual wind is way worse than what the forecast was showing

Yes, because it was offshore (normal until it picks up), but then didn’t switch. Sometimes it did, but lighter than forecasted.
Strange !

I have only been to Brazil once for a couple of weeks - so I'm hardly an expert, but I found the Windfinder forecast to be fairly OK for Cumbuco and Prea. Typical forecast for Cumbuco was 14-15 and we had 17-18 (so same tendency as you say Toby). Prea I experienced the same as rw30 is describing. One day I only brought my 9 from Jeri and the wind was some knots less than the forecast - so instead of having a great time on my 12 I was a bit underpowered with my 9.
