I would agree that the Sonic2 still has the edge for hangtime and upwind angle. The Souls relaunch and stability though in my opinion makes it the winner.

Yes you pull both front lines together, if it starts going to one side you pull in some more of the opposite line then resume pulling both together with them offset. You make little adjustments as you go, try make them small and keep the kite centered. You will find you can reel the kite in quite quick say 10seconds so keeping it steered is not too important. Be careful if you pull in too fast it over flys when close. And most important don't get tangled or wrap lines, do it very underpowered and with space to let go. When you are good with it you can land where ever you can stand :-)

After how many sessions should the first mixer need doing? Only used my 10m 6-7 times but it seems to be dropping me down fast after jumps. It has been quite light wind lately though so may be that but Just wondering if they need a tune up after bedding in?

It takes literally a couple minutes with a helper to check long mixer.....do it so you know. There is no set time between checks.

Also check your bar line lengths.
