I am sure you can and have done on the 683 and other wings with your skill so not really a promo for that wing.
Actually no. The 683 is not as fast of smooth as the 695. The 633 is better than the 683, but the 633 is not a great jumper, it does not accelerate as well as the 695 which makes jumping any decent hight, even powered up, difficult to achieve. The 695 jumps easier and also lands easier than the other Foils. The Comet and Havok jump just as well, but are much harder to land foiling.

For me 683s feels that it accelerates faster than 633, as it’s thinner and has higher “average high” speed and is a lot of fun to ride.
Why do you think the 633 is better than 683(s)?

Because the 683 is not as stable, not does it have the speed range of the 633. I find the 683 has a bit of an unpredictable stall. This makes it difficult to land foiling consistently. The 633 is pretty much impossible not to land foiling and recovers from stalls and breaches better than the 683 too.

Hi Gunnar.

I understand that the 695 wing is very similar to the 550 in it's shape, apart from the 695 is larger. (550 = 600cm², 695 = 770cm²)

I'd like to understand how the 695 compares with the 590wing and 550 wings for low-end speed/ top-end speed/ carving/ surf style... etc.....

Gunnar is making me want a 695 even more than I already wanted a 695. Maybe I can pre-order one at my local dealer. Never mind that it's snowing and not windy here.

720, which is pretty much same wing as 718 rode amazingly well with larger, 450 stabilizer for me. Early takeoff, low lowend, but too much stability for my liking of skater wing.
Tucker was swearing by 720/325 combo but I didn’t like it as it seemed to lose the lowend advantage and felt way more pitch-sensitive.

After two years we’re finally getting two larger wings for 647 fuselage and I can only get excited about these!

next question:

what about difference of 718 to 695 ? If i am looking for complement to 633 and will use 91cm mast...
these 2 wings are so close in area. I´d like to know difference in low speed, top speed and stability.
is 101 mast needed for 718 ?

I’d say 720 would compliment 633 or 790 nicely to stick with the same fuselage

I rode 720 (side by side with 683s) which must be pretty identical to 718 and with large stabilizer it was quite early to plane and could go pretty slow (and reasonably fast). It didn’t struck me in means of average speed or top speed, it rather surprised me that 740 sq.cm wing could go pretty similar to 1005 sq.cm 683s. Except it rode much more roll stable, way more stable than I’m even looking for.
When I put 325 with 720 - it suddenly changed to pitch unstable and lost the lowend. So stabilizers matter.

Rode it with 105cm mast I ride in deep water and it was very satisfying.

Now as of 718 vs 695
I ride 590/647/330 set and I bet on slightly larger 695 wing and 425 stabilizer to be used on kite fuselage and I hope it’s going to be my favorite, most ridden set of 2020 - with more lowend compared to 590 and more high end stability compared to 330 stabilizer set

My only concern is that 718/720/695 have pretty dull leading edge outline (unlike 633) so they will not work well in seaweed infested water.

I’m planning to take 695/425 to La Ventana end of January so i hope it’ll rock. Will share my feedback and folks are welcome to demo it
