check the archive in https://old.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=52627

a 12 meter kite is a must

if it is not windy you can trouble north to mancora for more wind. The wind comes from the dessert. If the land is not hot there is no wind.

Cheers

if you want to travel lite you can rent a SB or Kite at el Hotel El Faro. Take your SB and and your 10 meter kite and if the wind is stronger or lighter you can always rent the equipment.

there are other place to stay but I recommend https://www.elfaropacasmayo.com/

Fly to Lima then take a bus to pacasmayo in http://excluciva.com.pe/ bus station Av. Javier Prado Este 1155 – La Victoria

cheers
