Generating power manually is retarded.
...
I disagree on that ; you'd probably wanna see , all the crew go
away , and just use RC to remotely pilot them . :nono:

I always wondered why the grinders used their arms ; when
the legs generated so much more power ?

Yes, sport preferences are highly subjective. For me, those sailors pretending to ride Tour De France on a boat look like a circus. So why not crew of 2, the pilot and copilot only? And yes, going one step further, if the sailboat were remotely controlled, then even more cost savings. Because nobody would care if the unmanned sail boat capsizes, so they don't need a chase boat.

I would go the other way: one person powered by wind open to anything. No limits... then que would go to kite foiling... until there is something new and better; kites and foils would’ve revolutionized.
