Two new v2 UFOs arrived here :)

5 m2 1270 grams
7 m2 1600 grams

New bags are much bigger, maybe a bit too over size, asking me. Looking forward to compare them with v1.1 :)

any comparison with the 7 yet?
2020 Slingshot UFO 5m 1315 g
2020 Slingshot UFO 7m 1678 g
2020 Slingshot UFO 9m 1996 g

cool . . . but wondering about flight differences . . . similarities.

Finally got a chance to ride a V2 smaller than my 11m. I ride my 8m today at Stevenson... Pretty much everything I wanted from the V2. Some updates are just marketing; the V2 is not. If you loved the V1 UFO, you will FU*&ing LOVE the V2 UFO.

The V2 8m compared to the V1.1 7m and 9m IMHO: The 8m feels slightly faster than the 7m and is lighter on the controls. It "feels" smaller to me than the 7m, but has more power. It also handles being over-powered much better than the V1.1 kites. i.e. It has better low end than the 7m and better high end as well. The 9m V1.1 felt heavy to me, the 8m feels much lighter than the 9m, and somewhat lighter than the 7m. The 8m has better drift than the 7m or the 9m, it also has better control when de-powered.

TLDR: the V2 8m is a better replacement for the V1.1 7m and 9m. It's just better at everything that makes a UFO a UFO.

Anybody know if the Ghost V2 is going to be available in a 9m? SS web site has pictures of the 9m on their product page, but the pricing and specs only list even sizes in the 4 to 12 range.
BTW, Happy Summer everyone!

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see a 9m this year. After your last post I went back and looked at the Slingshot product preview at AWSI. Alex verifies the Ghost V2 size range; start listening at 26:50. Looks like the sizes listed as available on the SS website are it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZAw54FWplo

SS replied to my question. They sure do have great customer service. Should have just asked them first.
The "9" in the images is just something the graphics dept uses on most of their web site kite images.
I was hoping for a 9m though...
