I’m always curious about people’s relative skill level and gear they are using when they are comparing the two foil disciplines. Do you guys have any video posted yet? Would love to see more riding video to go with the observations! 😀 Always gives a better perspective of where people are coming from.

I love both disciplines. Much more time spent winging right now than kite foiling. I wouldn’t agree at all that flat water wing foiling is boring compared to kite foiling. Lots of fun “moves” to master

......

Yet, I don't know why but I keep doing it.

Extremely common, based on my observations. My theory is winging just lets you FEEL and ride the foil more than kiting does. That feeling, especially in waves is the drug.

How much of it is simply the the appeal of the new? It seems logical to me that there are conditions in which winging works better, but during the discovery/learning process it is appealing because of the challenge.
