Have anyone ever heard about this being an issue with any bar before? I have never heard anyone ever mention that it is difficult to depower a kite with the system Ozone uses. Honest question though - it might be an issue even if it is unknown to me.

It is quite hard to do. I think the handle needs to be bigger, it would make it considerably easier to use. Pull it outwards then pull down.
And I have arthritis in my hands and have had three Ozone V4 Water bars since they first came out, but have never had a problem.

Is the foam cover that covers the clear covering the stopper ball properly? I had a few issues with my clam clear after changing the clear line and forgetting to pull the neoprene hood over the stopper ball again.

I recognize Kitego's described problem. I was a big fan of Cabrinha. Due to circumstances, I switched to Reo's this summer. I have absolutely no regrets. The kites are fantastic. Except that I'm dealing with the same problem. It also takes me a lot of effort to grab the trim grab handle of the Ozone Contact Water V4 bar with my fingers, then squeeze it and trim it. If you look at Cabrinha's system (for example the Overdrive Quickloop 1X Trimlite) you put your finger through the trimlite loop, then you do not have to squeeze. Trimming then takes much less force. I asked Ozone a question about this via a web form and unfortunately did not receive any answer. The solution should be simple for Ozone: make a trimlite loop instead of a trim grab handle.

I only have the ball on the trim handle on my V3. I cut off the magnet thingy as it just rusts and heavy then swings around the cleat.
So you can only grab it with a finger and thumb when trimmed fully out.
Absolutely no way can you trim it while cruising etc. You have to bare off downwind but never a problem as we do have skills don't we?
I'm not sure why you are struggling. No offence.
BTW i ave the V4 too and not a problem and can trim on the go.

its true, the black plastic pull knob is not great, took mine off and put a loop there, also made one and fitted it for a customer who brought me his bar for a re-line and new depower rope fitting, with the knob you have to pull hard and at the same time lean in and if its really stuck then quickly take your hand off the bar and grab the power line at the top where the neoprene cover is and pull down to take some pressure off the depower rope, but fitting a grab loop is the answer, but you have to make one as I have been looking to buy some for other customers who want them fitting, as the one I made I gave it to the last customer, but finding one is hard as stocks are just not available, you need a big loop to get 3 fingers in to make it easier.
same problem with below the bar trim systems, for easy trim the click bars are by far the easiest, or race setups with proper Orbit pulleys.
I will be making more loops next week.
