I thought the filming and comentry were good considering the conditions. You could see how mega gusty it must have been, the kites were surging forwards/backwards loads. Quite a few more wipe outs than you see at King of the Air, I guess that's down to the gusty winds.

Agreed, not perfect camera work, but pretty good, and towards the end there seemed to be good communication between the commentator and the camera people, encouraging them to focus on a rider about to jump. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the coverage from the comfort of my couch. I have been there for the KOTA several times and the vibe on the beach and the immediacy of the amazing jumps these kiters do is great, but if you can't be there, that was pretty good. Plus my couch was much warmer, far less windy, and I did not get sandblasted or sunburned. Major downside is the past few KOTAs I attended I had my kite ready to go and as they ended immediately went out and threw some of my biggest jumps, inspired by their performances and the great conditions. Can't wait for Cape Town this year.

Cleaning the sensor on your cameras before a shoot is a fundamental for any photographer/videographer. It's inexcusable that they didn't do this.

Agree with the comments about too much footage of riders making their way back upwind and missing the other ones doing jumps. The same thing happens in KOTA too.
