Ion claw palmless mitts are the best I tried.

For the last years I also used relatively thin neopren gloves 1-2mm.
Here I think the perfect fit is key and more important than thickness or special reflecting materials etc.

Adding some random rubber gloves as stated several times before has big impact.
(killing the wind chill)
I also cut the fingers for more freedom to move them.

With this I go near to zero degrees. But the hands were my weak spot.

So I now started COMBINING Open Palm Mittens with my thin gloves.
I bought ProLimit ones and significantly oversized in order to not affect blood circulation.

My first impression regarding warmth is that it definetly adds the comfort I expected in terms of warmth.
However I dislike the locked feel when the four fingers are in the glove. You can't move any of these fingers seperately anymore.
Therefore I kited with the four fingers out of the glove.
(Putting only three fingers in the glove might become an option when it is colder.)

So before buying I recommend to consider if you feel comfortable with the fingers locked together.
