Waste of money.
I thought it might do this, when I first saw their pictures.
No wear issues on my DIY version. It is an external “hole”, and the bar is like $40 on ebay

Exactly the reason why we stepped away from drilling a hole into a carbon tube for the depower cord. Eventually the bar wears out and breaks.

Many carbon bars suffer from this issue. Sand impreganting the center line makes the problem even worse! I make a carbon fiber bar that uses hard anodized center slots with two ball bearing pullies to greatly reduce the wear. I posted some pics in this thread:
