I ordered an EVO SLS 2022 and the shop told me that the release date is from now on march 2022.

I can't confirm but wouldn't be surprised... I've somewhat been looking for a new Evo (non-SLS) this year and noticed of all Duotones kites the shops seem to be receiving very few Evo's. Every time I look they are either fully sold out or they dont have the size I'm looking for. I always thought the Evo was one their better selling kites so you would you think if they have limited production abilities they would produce Evo's over some of their less purchased kites. Originally when I bought an Evo in 2019 my original idea was to fill in my quiver with a 14 and 8 over the next couple of years. Covid wrecked that plan, since they can't seem to produce very many. Now I'm considering switching from Duotone to another brand that I'll know I'll be able to get easily. This is only because I dont see the supply chain being fixed anytime soon.

It wouldn’t surprise me. I didn’t get my evo sls until May.
I hear things are still tight this year.
I have some bags on order since January
For what it is worth the 2022 evo sls seems to in the new porsche announcement

Interesting because I have demoed the 12m and 9m in Melbourne a month ago. I can’t believe that DT sends kite to demo events and don’t release them for such a long period of time. Also Edgar Ulrich is competing with competed with the new Evos.

It was supposed to be released in November with the classic version in December.
I suppose it could be anytime.

Planning to upgrade my quiver and interested in the Evo SLS 2022. I kite 9 years with my Takoon Furia's.
Looking for allround freeride kites in sizes 7 and 10. Os the Evo sls 2022 a good option? Always strugeling with the depower to far to reach properly so I think the clickbar is a solution!

I think it depends a bit on your level and what you intend to do with the EVO SLS. For most people who just want to freeride and a bit of waves maybe, I think the normal EVO version is actually better because it´s a bit more forgiving in gusty winds, less direct and less expensive.
Overall, I think the EVO SLS (2021, haven´t tried the 2022) is an awesome kite. I bought a 9m last year for looping and it´s just awesome for that. I´ve ordered another 7m 2022, scheduled to arrive in January.
