As a heads up, Naish has been replacing Torque 2 bars as some have been found to have premature center line wear in the chicken loop assembly. I had a buddy snap his center line while down in South Padre this November. According to Naish, they've made small improvements to some of the internal parts. Stay safe everyone.
I had the bungee stretch problem, also the spinner seize up with sand and the chicken loop would sometimes wouldn't release as the chicken loop has a metal part which can grab the stopper knot at certain angles. Not fun getting dragged 100m through waves in 50knots of wind.
They have already replaced this bar with a new one. Which uses the old Torque chicken loop. Hopefully they offer that chicken loop only at some point so I can switch it out *sigh
I ordered this chickenloop recently from Kitemana in Holland, they ordered it from Naish Europe, I think it was around 140 Euro. The Chickenloop below (Naish Universal Bar 2021) is perfect and always spins and releases well.
New bar is the best I've used yet. They have gone back to the original CL. Just wish they didn't use pu the rope was fine and easy to see wear and lasted for a while and had the ability to adjust the throw length.
You can as Billygoatgruff said change the i3 with the new/old CL .
I like how the safety line is separate on the new bar. Easier replacement and you can see any wear.
I still have a i3 but is only used occasionally but was definitely a bar not up to the standards of Naish but they had to rush something out.
Hi Saltyman - That's an interesting set up, where did you buy the bar? I can't see it on Naish website/shops, thanks. Looks like you got a 2022 S26 Sense bar, but one with the much nicer bar grip than the ones on most websites (see below). Are they changing the bar grip? this was what put me off buying one recently.

I'm in Australia it's just called the torque 2+torque qr 55 here
Has same grip as the i3 but its a comfortable bar and works perfectly
We luckily get the first shipments of Naish gear in Aus
