If this place is such unique spot of flat in strong winds than why local riders or local organizers can’t rise money for this hazards removing? Some has technics some has working power and they together can remove.
Removing natural hazards from the sea...because of kiteboarding? In what country do you live where such a thing would have even the tiniest chance of being authorized and would not clash with local environmental parties, activists and conservationists?
Waaaaay to simple, guys.
would be a dream...but I agree, won't happen in most countries.
But, in Brazil they just enlarged the kite lagoon...not sure if it was for the kiters, or for the new resort being build at one shore of it...at the end, it is win win for all.
Won't complain

It’s really painful to watch, and I hope they all get lucky.
This looks like a close call…
Anyone knows how deep the water there is so one doesn’t need to worry ?

Can’t compare to Messi.
These kids barely make any money…if, it would be worth the risk !
I don’t usually post but think it’s time to set the record straight.
Riders are making money, there are careers in kiteboarding and the days where all the athletes do is compete on a tour and are happy for a bit of free prize money and travelling are over. Sponsorships and opportunities in and outside of the sport are at there highest. Riders are making money.

From Instagram from TikTok,?
Which rider is actually making a living solely from their Kite sponsorship from brands that they ride for and prize money.
No trust fund, no outside income no working for the brand as marketing/team social/media manager
As a rider, can you even name one rider that is doing that?

The last thing I read from him was that he will have a last surgery to have all the screws removed and would be able to kite again in a few months.
