Liquid force p1

Postby Gvafi72 » Sat May 28, 2022 9:29 am

bought a liquid force p1 and a few days ago I put it in water for the first time.
I threw it with a liquid force Response Bar 2016 bar.
I noticed that the bar from the middle and bottom did not work.
I also changed the knots from the middle to the lower knots and again nothing.
the bar is trimmed correctly.
Is it something I did wrong or does the cloth generally have problems ???

Are your lines equal at full power? Sounds like the lines are stretched.

I am 72 kilos and the day I tried it had 19-20 knots and all my friends were with 10m kites, I had trimmed the bar before I entered.
the kite's behavior improved a bit when I turned off the power a bit.
what do you mean by saying «the lines are stretched” ???

This video explains how to check if your lines are stretched

Your explanation isn't clear how the kite behaves. Make a video and/or let someone else try it on the beach. Try it also with another bar.
I have 9m P1 and it works great with any bar with equal length lines. Except it's unstable if you stand still and fly it in gusty winds. But that's how racy kites do ;)

with which bar do you fly 9m?
My friends also tried my kite and had the same problem.
the bar from the middle and bottom is clogged and the eagle does not pull.
otherwise it pulls a lot and has a permanent upward trend.
I have tried it fly with Rrd and core bar and the kite is not working
Which is your bar ?

Maybe post your question in your own language so we can translate it ourself or someone can answer from your country? The way you try to describe it now is very confusing for everyone.

It's unclear if you have no power due to stalling the kite or no power because of the the opposite with too long back lines. But it could also be a characteristic of that specific kite model or even a something wrong with only the one you have.

Asking for a specific bar from someone else also doesn't help as all has to do with how they are tuned. Lines shrink and bridles shrink so after a while the setting when it was new doesn't work anymore.
