So to resurrect a thread somewhat…great deals on S26 worthwhile or is the S27 enough of an upgrade to justify waiting / spending more? Considering a change from my now slightly ageing 2018 Bandits. Reedin SM3 the other possible but no offers out there on that one!

I think coming from Bandits, the Pivot (s26) will feel quite different, more direct, more bar pressure, more active on the bar. My kite buddy had Bandits (I think it was 2018/19) and to me they felt different, I´d say more comfortable.
It depends a bit on the sizes. I always ride 8/11 and I had 11 (S26) and 8 (S25), now both as S27. The 12m S26 a friend of mine has, was different, because it has a different shape, more AR and it felt pretty smooth.

In my opinion the S27 is a better kite than its predeccors and you can feel the difference which comes with the new bridle. Especially if you kite very powered up to overpowered and in gusty conditions. Less reactive on the bar, more comfortable, but still a direct and connected feel.

Thanks. I think I will keep them for this season and then go for discounted S27s!

If you ride in gusty conditions, good call! Those specials are super tempting though 🤤

+1 the S27 is a awesome kite.
That power load bridle 🤯.
Makes the le so stiff compared to the S26.
First ride on my 10m ystd and totally dialled in straight away. It also improves the hangtime as well I was blown away by the difference it made. Lot more feedback to the bar.
Also gives the kite more low end power as well as the usual ride the pivot when its nuking.
Its a win win 🚀 :thumb:
