I've been.
There are 3 main kite spots. Ageos Ioannis (left hand beach marker) which is typical sea conditions but the winds are thermal driven by the lake on the other side of the spit.
Wooden bridge (marked as Bayia) which is a flat spot between a sand bank and the main land. Dirty beach so rig with care to avoid kite damage. Doesn't seem to get thermal wind so much so isn't a consistent spot
The spot in the instagram looks more like the spot that isn't on your map but is further north east at Ageos Nikaloas (spelling might be wrong). Thats a popular sand spit in a bay. Typical sea conditions one side and flat water the other side.
The other popular watersports spot is Vasiliki on the south of the island. Well known to the windsurf community. Its thermal wind again but because its in a valley the wind is a lot stronger.

I'm told the wind is good but I went for a 5 day trip and scored about 1 hour of wind in July which is supposedly the peak season. From my windsurfing days I know that even Vasiliki doesn't always catch wind and you need a good 2 week holiday to get a decent amount of wind.

I'd happily do a family holiday there. The wind is mainly thermal so you kind of know that you can explore the island with the family in the morning and go kiting in the afternoon if its windy.

I made 2 clips there:

I made an article in Hungarian, you can use translator: https://adrenalinsportok.hu/lefkada-gor ... surf-spot/

TL;DR;
During summer for 12m and bigger kite you can ride every day and the wind is very-very stable (in the afternoon)
For Airstlye you will like it

Can you stand in the deeper part of the lagoon of Ageos Nikaloas ?.

stayed at lefkada for ten days this summer (end of July and first of August).
It was windy (thermal wind). every day 12m or 10m with twin tip starting at 2pm ending at 7/7.30pm. not really crowded. just awesome!
the spot (Agios Ioannis) works with good weather and sunny days. I tried the other spots as well. Agios Nikolas is good too with the right conditions.
choppy water in the open sea, and I didn't see anybody riding in the lagoon behind Agios Ioannis.
food is good as well (many places to eat for less than €15/person)
family in the morning (mostly beach) and kite in the afternoon.

Wooden bridge (not to be mistaken with the one at Lefkada’s largo strip 🙂), looks like Bayia on your map. It’s within couple of km from Lefkada direction Agios Nikolaos.
The vid has been shot from a strange angle barely recognised Kostas bar from above… The place is picturesque with small church on tiny island in front … Same thermal wind, sometimes lighter than on the windmills (Agios Ioannis) depending of the direction. Huge flat area behind the jetty or around the church.

Oh there s a station nowadays? Had wonderful 2 weeks there 3 years ago. Wind between 12 + 25 knots everyday. Barely anyone at the lagoon in the morning (well no wind also...). Perfect place with little kids. But everyday at noon the wind picked up. But yes, the wind is way stronger where the windmills are. You ll need some luck to kite the wooden bridge.
