Well that was awkward and out of touch on behalf of Duotone, especially when they tout themselves as having some sense of sustainability. Instead they are hitching their wagons to a car company. What's next a Nestlé Neo, a De Beers Dice?

Please stop with the bullshit

The water sports industry is not environmentally friendly, that’s the truth

The amount of oil based product that is used across the industry, the flight miles the road miles all combine in a negative way.

you want to slag of Porsche because duotone put a graphic on the Kite? The kite was being built anyway, they’re just painting it a different colour.

It's true, love the hippie comments about Volkswagen and carbon footprints, in the meantime other posters have said the obvious of where the kites are produced and the labor behind it. It's not rocket Surgery, your Vegan hippie environmentalist ideas might mean well but get educated. I like to travel and eat meat, take planes to get to places to find the best wind, fishing, diving, surfing possible, which takes planes, hotels, lodges, restaurants, taxis, ect. In the end of the day you are making your life and self choices way more difficult than it needs to be, than just to have fun and a peaceful life

This is no necessarily targeted towards Porsche owners but to everyone who identifies with the brand or is simply a fan and there are apparently lots of them. To my surprise I've seen in Egypt two of these Porsche Rebels already and the guys who bought them just "liked the design" but were not Porsche owners.

Apparently, there are some people out there who can afford such a kite - also Aluula kites - without a problem. So what Duotone is proposing here might just work better than you expect. You are just not the target group. Just like myself.

A bit annoying what DT did was to stop offering Rebel in regular version, kinda dick move since many people like it in non-sls, they have all the right to do what they are pleased but still stop offering Rebel in reasonable price wasn’t nice. Likely it’s not a kite of my choice but if it was I would be looking to change brand
