Kind of interesting and it kinda feels like whom ever wrote it - only did it for his editor to f@#k off.
No mention of lighting what so ever - that's like 99% of photography / filming.

I have to assume this guy has pro level gear 10 bit color recording in log, $10,000 cameras, only shooting stills no videos, spending weeks doing color grading afterwards, so he is able to handle lighting situations where our cheap $2,000 cameras will get completely blown out. His priorities are different from ours. We have nothing but time so can wait forever to get the right shot. He's budgeted for a certain number of hired hours, does his time slot and is done whatever the wind whatever the sun. To be sure he knows all about lighting, that's his job. I kind of wanted to hear how he does his color grading, but that would be too technical.

What you pay for the gear makes very little difference if your lighting conditions are garbage to being with. There's only so much you can pull in post-processing. Garbage in = garbage out. No camera and lens setup can save that.
During my last kite trip I was on a spot where best light to shoot from shore is when there's no wind, and by the time when wind picks up - you're facing the sun straight on.
