On Toby's posted video the wind is....dead onshore.
Dude could not slow down his approach to beach.
Luckily the kite slammed down right after he slammed down because the obstacles downwind that can hurt or kill were getting closer and closer.

The point is, anything near shore, or on shore, be extra careful. Many think they have 100% control. No one has it, not me, not anyone else. Lessons learned...
