Wow! I am happy to discover I am of average age (53). We are a tough generation. I had 2 heart attacks 6 years ago (just after 9/11 to name this date once again in this topic) and ruined my knee trying to do backrolls on a wakeboard track. Forgot to wet the ramp. Now I am taking it easy. Can't land ...

Re: Board and wind range

With a C-kite it is mandatory to have a board with a sharp rail, that can hold the edge. . my old naish Flash 5"5 dir had a 2.5 inch rail, your theory is not true, i learnt with that board on a wipika 11.5 2 line. Correct: a sharp rail is not required to hold edge. However I would not like to find ...

Board and wind range

A few technical remarks: Nobody ever seems to notice that the board makes a huge difference. With a C-kite it is mandatory to have a board with a sharp rail, that can hold the edge. With a bow kite this is totally unnecessary. So bow kites can be ridden with bigger and wider boards eventually with a...

I really only check the pulleys every 4-5 launches. You may want to check them more often if you ride from a beach with very fine sand. A quick twist is ample. My experience is different. The combination of salt water and fine sand needs more thourough maintenance. I always have a few used credit c...

I don't buy it.

I am sure bowkites are the future, BUT: I will not buy this brilliant kite (yet) for the following reasons: 1. It is too young.
