Re: Notus Air 12 weight

I weighed mine ( dry) on the warehouse scales at work - I also get 3.00kg for kite only One thing that I have found that might help anyone considering this kite - as it is so C shaped (which has turning benefits) the best relaunch technique in lighter conditions seems to be a C kite related one ie w...

F-One Furtive - any reviews?

Hi, am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Furtive which was released recently? Am specifically wondering how it goes when used for speed kiting - does it depower well , how does it handle gusts, bar pressure etc. All important factors considering that when you are trying to go fast it t...

Re: LF Solo 15,5 - questions

I can only really talk to the Solo 9m on the water although have flown the Solo 15.5 on the beach to test its behavior at zenith and at the edge of the window. Wind was probably 7 knots on avg but lulling to a bit less- the 15.5 behaved itself well at zenith ( no Hindenburging at all ) but did need ...

Glad daddy can afford it. The father is the real winner here. Mate , I have absolutely no idea what your point is ! You have once again polluted a perfectly good topic on this forum with your "trust fund kid / daddy's money" crap. Boo hoo. Try foiling around the buoys at 30knots in chop and close p...

Re: Cabrinhas Apollo 10m or 12m?

Hi BraCuru, How did you find the 14M Apollo in the lulls: - did it stay at zenith well? ( any tendency to Hindenburg?) - low down at edge of window when waterstarting - will it fly up? - relaunching? - steering response? Also : - Bar pressure ? -Top end? -Realistic bottom end ? Many thanks in advanc...

Cabrinha Apollo 12 or 14 for light wind foiling ?

Wondering if anyone can share their experiences of light wind foiling on the 12 or 14 Apollo? Like so many foilers I am looking for something that will reliably work in the marginal 8 knot+ range and have good range and depower so you don't become woefully overpowered if the wind increases or gusts ...

Re: Liquid Force Solo 15.5 for foiling?

I have the 2014 MHL Lift with medium ( standard) wings plus a higher aspect set of race wings (front and rear) which I use for more powered / windy conditions to better manage the lift from the foil - I'm an ex-windsurfer so am applying similar logic ( rightly or wrongly) ie you use smaller fins whe...

Re: Liquid Force Solo 15.5 for foiling?

Sorry, should have given my weight - 82kg. My rationale for a 15 was that guys using foil kites seem to recommend 15m's for very light winds so presumably the benefits ( power) vs the risks ( overpowered) are similar. I was thinking that I might be able to temper some of the power by using shorter l...
