Re: Looking to meet up with some local kiters from Vero beach FL

If you live near there please pm me, I don't really like kiting by myself too much. I will have a car. I am an experienced rider and will not cause problems. thank you! wayne Probab...

Re: Normal seasonal weather/wind where you are?

Milder winter up in Ontario here with hardly any snow in southern Ontario. This meant that most of the snow kiting was more ice kiting. Ouch! One broken femur to show for it (not me). :o Folks have just started to get water session in on Lake Ontario in the last 3 days or so. Go an hour north and pe...

Re: Any beach cart ideas for tons of equipment?

Interesting LM cuz the spot I was talking about down east from where I am all the locals had modified golf carts. I would estimate that my golf bag with clubs weighs 20 lbs. You must have had too much ..... juice......

Re: Any beach cart ideas for tons of equipment?

My back is taking brutal punishment by carrying all of my kiteboarding stuff from the car to the beach. I also carry beach chairs, umbrela and stuff to tame my girlfriend while I do my time at sea. I own a regular sized sedan and it is basicaly stuffed with my gear. Any ideas for a compact cart tha...

Re: Youtube blocks Videos because of Music!

Actually the revolution is well on its way. Record companies don't make as much anymore from CD sales. They make all the money when the band tours and everyone pays big bucks to go to the concert. Some of the folks I know are saying that pretty soon all music will be "free" through a $10 a month sub...

Re: Youtube blocks Videos because of Music!

YouTube has been doing this for over a year now. They actually have been going back through old video posts and flagging those. It's for any of the big 5 record companies. Warner Music Group stuff gets blocked. You basically have to create your own, check out some of the independent musicians on Fac...

Re: Really Funny/Amusing Crash Video

Anyone know of an available source for that video with the kid, trying to avoid that small groin, and then just getting worked over and over into the shore, back into the trees? I think the original had some acoustic guitar gansta rap song being played by some girl? I can't find it anywhere anymore...

Re: To Strap or not to Strap?

Ditto on the strapless route. Started with a surfboard in 2008 and have never used straps. Not saying they are bad but I agree going strapless has made me a better kiter. Straps are necessary when the waves get big although we seldom get large waves around here in Ontario unless there is a big storm...
